This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining semi trucks, trailers, and equipment in the field using a company-provided service truck. If you're eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and want to grow your skills alongside experienced technicians, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer locations to perform repairs and inspections (Company service truck provided) Perform DOT inspections Diagnose and repair semi trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment (Freightliner, International, CAT, and similar) Perform PM services, brake repairs, minor welding, and general mechanical repairs Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operating properly Work collaboratively with dispatch and other technicians to complete jobs efficiently Requirements Valid driver's license Experience as a Heavy Equipment or Diesel Mechanic OR willingness to be trained Michigan Heavy-Duty Mechanic Certification (any level) preferred Mechanical aptitude and interest in heavy equipment and truck repair Welding experience is a plus (training available) Familiarity with semi trucks, trailers, or industrial equipment is a plus Strong work ethic and desire to learn and improve What We Provide We provide everything you need to succeed —from tools and training to certifications and long-term career development.
