Locums About the Facility This outpatient cancer center provides specialized hematology and oncology services with comprehensive cancer and blood disorder treatment capabilities. The facility maintains established protocols for patient care delivery with coordinated services between outpatient and inpatient settings. About the Facility Location Alabama features diverse attractions including the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, and various state parks offering hiking trails and outdoor recreation. The region provides opportunities for nature tours, cultural experiences, and family-oriented activities throughout the year with access to maritime museums and motorsports venues. About the Clinician's Workday The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM managing 13-15 patients per day in clinic with shared hospital call at 1:3 ratio. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing hematologic and oncologic conditions for this combined inpatient, outpatient, and clinic assignment.
