EXEMPT Position Overview:
Delone Catholic High School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed High School Boys Soccer Coach to lead and grow our soccer program in a Catholic school environment. The coach will promote athletic excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship while supporting the spiritual, academic, and personal development of student-athletes in alignment with the mission of Catholic education.Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and conduct daily practices and game strategies that develop individual skills and team performance. Teach fundamental and advanced soccer techniques, conditioning, and tactical awareness. Foster a culture of respect, discipline, teamwork, and accountability. Model and integrate Catholic values, including integrity, humility, and service, into the program. Monitor and support the academic progress and well-being of student-athletes. Ensure compliance with school policies and state athletic association regulations. Coordinate team logistics, including scheduling, travel, and supervision at games and events. Maintain equipment, uniforms, and practice/game facilities. Communicate effectively with players, parents, faculty, and administration. Support off-season training, camps, and player development opportunities as appropriate.Qualifications:
Previous soccer coaching experience or competitive playing experience preferred. Strong knowledge of soccer techniques, training methods, and game strategy. Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high school student-athletes. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Completion of required clearances and background checks.Preferred Qualifications:
Prior high school coaching experience. Familiarity with state athletic association rules and regulations. Experience working in a faith-based or educational setting.Compensation:
