Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students across all grade levels as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. Experience the rewards of working in an inclusive environment where your expertise helps learners thrive—from elementary settings through to high school. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service professionals to deliver vital communication interventions, including individualized support.
Qualifications & Credentials:
Active SLP license and state certification Experience across diverse school settings (elementary, middle, and high school) Strong skills in both individual (1:1) and group therapy Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and document progress Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability to serve students with a range of needs and backgrounds Familiarity with educational platforms and district compliance practices is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans Deliver direct therapy to students both individually and in small groups Collaborate with teachers and families to maximize student progress Document services, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings Provide strategies and resources to support generalization of communication skills in academic settings Stay current on best practices and continuing education within the field This contract opportunity places you in a school community where your clinical expertise will be valued and your professional growth supported.
