High school math tutor/mentor/teacher

Math mentor/tutor/teacher wanted for weekly small math class with two 10th grade homeschooled students Beginning September 2026

What:

We are seeking a passionate math major or mathematician to work with two bright and focused 10th grade homeschoolers. Youth will be using the Glencoe Pre-Calculus text. Your job is to teach new concepts, answer specific math questions, and provide context and explanations for problems. No testing or grading needed.

Where:

Montgomery County Community College.

When:

Fridays 12:45-1:45pm beginning in late August 2026 and continuing through May 2027. In-person meetings in Blue Bell, PA once a week.

Compensation:

$60-$80/hour Must have criminal and child abuse clearances
