URGENTLY HIRING
Overnight Caregivers / HHAs / CNAs RL Health Services is a licensed Residential Service Agency seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers for an immediate private duty overnight case in the Grasonville / Kent Island area.
Shift Schedule:
Overnight hours (Specific shift times to be discussed during interview)
Employment Type:
W-2 position, Part-Time / PRN options available
Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $22.00 / hour (Based on experience and credentials)
Position Highlights:
Great shift differential pay for overnight hours. Work with a supportive, nurse-led agency administration. Immediate start available for the right candidate following background clearance. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patient health status, including vital signs and overall condition, documenting changes accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medication administration and ensure medication adherence as prescribed by healthcare providers Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care strategies and Alzheimer's-specific protocols Assist with catheter care, wound care, and other medical procedures following proper protocols and medical terminology standards Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe living environment Utilize equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices to safely transfer or reposition patients while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety guidelines Requirements Proven experience in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient observation techniques, and documentation practices using EMR/EHR systems Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as hospice care or dementia training are a plus Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities with patience and empathy Experience working with patients requiring hospice or memory care services is highly desirable Familiarity with medical procedures including vital signs measurement, medication administration, catheter care, and use of mobility aids like Hoyer lifts Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA standards Ability to work independently in a home setting while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently Join us to provide exceptional home health services that enhance quality of life!
