About the Position Our agency receives ongoing referrals from the VA, which means caregivers on our team are regularly offered additional hours and new cases as they become available. Active aides are always given priority when the VA assigns more Veterans to us. We are currently staffing a new Veteran client with a set weekly schedule of hours : 11 Tuesday 9am-2:30pm Friday 9am-2:30pm These times may be adjusted per request but you have to service him 11 hours a week This is a consistent, long-term case with guaranteed weekly hours. Responsibilities Provide personal care and companionship Assist with light housekeeping and daily-living support Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the client Requirements professional caregiving experience Reliable transportation Dependable, respectful, and compassionate Plan of Care Personal Care Assistance Assist with dressing Shower with assistance Toilet use Transfer assistance Support with bowel incontinence Companionship & Support Adult companion Travel accompaniment to appointments Home Care Tasks Clean bath area Clean bedrooms Change bed linens each visit Light housekeeping Kitchen cleaning (if used) Grocery shopping Wash clothes If you're reliable, experienced, and looking for steady hours with opportunities for more, we'd be glad to connect with you.
