Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacy practices, clinical pharmacy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. Administer immunizations as required and educate patients on vaccination benefits. Utilize pharmacy software systems for managing prescriptions and patient records effectively. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized medication plans. Perform compounding of medications when necessary, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) degree from an accredited institution. Active pharmacist license in the state of practice. Experience in clinical pharmacy or critical care is preferred but not required. Proficiency in pharmacy software systems is essential for efficient operations. Strong communication skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and compounding medications is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
