We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Homecare Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team and ensure the accurate and timely processing of all claims.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Homecare Billing Specialist with proven expertise in Georgia Medicaid billing and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) reconciliation. This role is crucial for our revenue cycle, ensuring our agency receives proper reimbursement for the vital services we provide. You will be responsible for managing the entire billing process, from claim submission to denial management and accounts receivable follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and submit claims to Georgia Medicaid (GAMMIS portal) for CCSP, SOURCE, and SFC programs, as well as private pay clients. Perform daily reconciliation of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) data, identifying and resolving discrepancies (e.g., missing clock-ins, location mismatches) to ensure compliance. Monitor and manage accounts receivable (A/R) aging reports, actively working to reduce outstanding balances. Investigate and resolve claim denials efficiently, submitting appeals and corrected claims as needed. Ensure strict adherence to all Georgia Medicaid billing regulations, HIPAA, and other relevant compliance standards. Maintain accurate and organized billing records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in homecare or medical billing, with a strong emphasis on Georgia Medicaid. Demonstrated proficiency with the GAMMIS portal for claim submission and status checks. Hands-on experience with EVV systems (e.g., Alora, CareSmartz360, HHA Exchange) and reconciliation processes. Solid understanding of HCPCS codes and modifiers applicable to homecare services. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify and resolve billing issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive Annual Salary:

$45,000 - $58,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Performance-Based Incentives:
