Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper food safety and hygiene standards Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning routines to promote a healthy environment Support medication administration in compliance with HIPAA regulations and care plans under supervision or as trained Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere Follow detailed care plans developed by healthcare professionals, including dementia, Alzheimer's, or autism-specific routines Document care activities accurately while respecting privacy regulations such as HIPAA Assist with transportation or outings within the community as needed for social engagement or medical appointments Requirements Previous experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs and patient monitoring skills Excellent communication skills coupled with patience and empathy for diverse needs Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a caregiving team Join us in creating a supportive environment where compassion meets professionalism!
