Hospice Field RN - Mandarin/Cantonese Speaking Required Unique Hospice and Palliative Care - 4.9 Arcadia, CA Job Details Full-time $110,000 - $120,000 a year 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications RN License Hospice experience Patient assessment Driver's License Driving End-of-life care Hospice & palliative medicine Full Job Description Hospice Field Registered Nurse (RN) Mandarin / Cantonese Speaking Required Unique Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our field team. This role provides direct patient care to individuals receiving end-of-life care and works closely with the interdisciplinary team to support patients and families with dignity, comfort, and respect. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act and hospice standards of care. Assess patient and family/caregiver needs and provide education related to the patient's diagnosis, condition, medications, and plan of care. Accurately and timely document all patient visits, services, assessments, and changes in condition in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Coordinate care with the hospice interdisciplinary team and report patient needs, changes, and concerns promptly. Attend and participate in biweekly interdisciplinary team meetings. Conduct RN supervisory visits and recertification visits as required. Monitor patient condition and communicate any changes that may impact the plan of care. Maintain competency in nursing skills, hospice philosophy, symptom management, and patient assessment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current California Registered Nurse license required. Must be fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese . Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance in accordance with California requirements. Strong understanding of hospice philosophy and the needs of terminally ill patients and their families. Excellent communication, documentation, organization, and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Hospice experience preferred, but not required.
