Hospitalist Job in Lebanon, Virginia

TBD Locum tenens opportunity at a community hospital in Lebanon, VA, starting August 1, 2026, with ongoing coverage. Clinical-only shifts are 12 hours (day 7a-7p and night 7p-7a). Adult and geriatric inpatient care with admissions, daily rounding, and general hospitalist case mix.

Facility:

53 acute care beds, including 5 ICU/PCU-adjacent beds. Epic EMR. Standard inpatient equipment, tele-support for admissions and floor call, and on-site NP/PA support.

Clinical responsibilities:

manage inpatient admissions and acute medical care, perform ventilator management when required, supervise NPs/PAs, and maintain timely, accurate Epic documentation.

Qualifications:

active, unrestricted VA medical license; board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (completion of

ACGME/AOA

3-year residency required); active DEA with VA address covering schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5; current ACLS; up-to-date immunizations and TB screening. ECFMG certification required for international graduates. Fellowship preferred. Case logs from the past two years required. Telehealth experience not required.
