Overview The Assistant Golf Professional supports daily golf operations at the club. This position assists Pro Shop activities and coordinating golf-related services to enhance the member and guest experience. The Assistant Golf Professional is dedicated to promoting the game of golf while ensuring that operations align with company policies and operational standards. This role requires a proactive approach to staff training and development, effective merchandising strategies, and exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming and engaging environment for all members and Guests. •PGA Member- Assistants would run our PGA Jr league and assist our instructional staff in our other seasonal clinics/programs offered to our members and public guests. Experience Required Previous Customer Service experience is desirable Previous Golf Operations experience is desirable Must have a valid Driver's License Essential Responsibilities Assist with opening and closing procedures for the Golf Shop, Outside Guest Services and Driving Range Assist in checking in golfers in the POS and Tee-Sheet reservation system Assist with oversight of Outside Golf Services staff to ensure the highest quality of customer service is achieved Assist in the selling of golf equipment, apparel and accessories in the golf shop Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times Benefits Golf privilages Uniform provided Discounts at proshop and FB outlets
