We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about golf and have experience in sports coaching or teaching. The Assistant Golf Professional will play a vital role in enhancing the golfing experience for our members and guests, providing instruction, support, and promoting a positive environment on the course.
Position Overview:
Assist in the daily operations of the golf facility, including managing tee times and coordinating events. Provide golf instruction to players of all skill levels, focusing on technique, strategy, and enjoyment of the game. Organize and lead clinics, workshops, and tournaments to engage members and promote participation. Foster a welcoming atmosphere by interacting positively with members, guests, and staff. Maintain knowledge of current golf trends and techniques to provide up-to-date instruction. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations of the facility. Support junior programs by working with young golfers to develop their skills and love for the game.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of relevant experience and skills, including: Prefer
PGA/LPGA
with experience or going through the program. Focus on clinics and lessons Able to manage daily golf shop operations Background in sports coaching or teaching physical education. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively engage with participants. A passion for golf and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all skill levels.
