CENTURY GOLF PARTNERS MANAGEMENT
Golf Shop Associate (PGA WEST Pete Dye Mountain & Dunes Courses) Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY
To provide high quality customer service to members and guests; perform assigned golf shop operational activities; and perform other duties as required. This is a part-time seasonal position.
Time period:
October to end of May, based on business needs
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Golf knowledge (golf operations, golf equipment and merchandise). Experience with Tee Time Reservation System. Experience with POS and basic computer operations. Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment. English speaking required. Must have a valid California Driver's License.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes excellent member and guest relations and ensures the highest quality of customer service.
Golf Shop operations:
checking in members and guests, tee time reservations, event registrations, merchandise sales and event promotions. May assist in special events and assists with other operations as needed. Enforces all rules and regulations governing the use of the golf course, golf carts and other golf facilities.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be willing to work various shifts (morning, mid-day or afternoon), weekends and holidays. Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain composure. Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more. Must be able to stand on feet majority of the day.
