Pacific Coast Athletic Club was born out of a love for sports, a love for fitness and a desire to give back to our local athletes. We are a premiere sports training facility serving ALL athletes in the surrounding West Los Angeles communities. PCAC is a 10,000 square foot space offering over 4,000 square feet of fitness, 2 indoor batting cages, 3 outdoor batting cages and the latest in sports performance testing and training.

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Sports Performance Specialist you must have extensive knowledge of baseball and be or have been a baseball athlete OR possess certification as a sports performance coach specializing in baseball/softball. The ideal candidate has face-to-face sales experience, a love of athletics, an entrepreneurial spirit and a gritty work ethic. A 'no-job-is-too-big-or-too-small' mentality is a must along with skills for exceptional customer service.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Hitting/Pitching/Fielding Lessons - knowledge of hitting/pitching mechanics and ability to connect with athletes of all ages. Sports Performance Training - knowledge of sports specific performance training. Accredited certification required. Ability to safely train athletes of all ages.

Welcome desk:

check-in customers, greet guest, and answer any-and-all questions.

Property Cleanliness:

opening, closing, and throughout the day for both interior and exterior areas. Includes organization of equipment inside, tidying up restrooms, and removing garbage from the facility on a regular basis.

Batting Cage Reservations:

assist customers with bookings, general set-up for specified use, velo machine operation, and overall safety management.

Membership Sales:

knowledge of the various membership and rental rates, processing fees, promoting memberships and closing prospects.

Sports Technology:

set-up of various technologies, demonstrations, and data interpretation.

Retail and Merchandise:

knowledge of various products along with the processing of all purchase transactions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Former Collegiate Baseball Athlete Certified Sports Performance Coach High School education and/or Higher - Must be 18 years of age and older Proficient knowledge of Baseball or Softball Familiarity with Rapsodo technology Proven Sales Experience Strong oral and written communication skills Positive, enthusiastic, problem-solver with a strong work ethic

Pay:

$20.00 - $75.00 per hour
