Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, engaging, and reliable Tennis Professional to support and grow both our junior development programs and adult clinics . This role is ideal for a coach who thrives in a high-energy environment, enjoys working with a wide range of players, and is passionate about building strong relationships within a tennis community. The ideal candidate is not only a strong instructor, but also someone who can create an experience that keeps players coming back . -

Key Responsibilities:

Coaching & Instruction

• Lead and assist in junior clinics, camps, and private lessons (ages 4-18)
• Run adult clinics, drills, and social programming (beginner to advanced)
• Deliver structured, engaging lessons with clear progressions and goals
• Provide technical instruction, match play guidance, and strategy development
• Adapt coaching style to meet varying skill levels and learning styles Program Development & Engagement
• Help grow participation in junior and adult programs
• Build relationships with players, parents, and members
• Foster a fun, inclusive, and energetic on-court environment
• Encourage player retention through positive experiences and progression
• Assist with events, mixers, leagues, and club programming Scheduling & Availability
• Maintain consistent availability for evenings and weekends (required)
• Arrive prepared and on time for all lessons and programs
• Assist with seasonal programming (summer camps, leagues, etc.

)

Qualifications:

Required:

• Previous experience coaching both junior and adult players
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead group clinics and private lessons effectively
• Energetic, positive, and reliable presence on court
• Availability on weekends and evenings

Preferred:

• PTR, USPTA, or equivalent certification
• Experience working in a club or academy setting
• Background in competitive play (USTA, college, etc.)
• Experience running camps, leagues, or events

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and extreme temperatures. Must have safety awareness and be able to provide basic first aid if necessary. Must be able to perform light manual labor.

Compensation:

$27.50-$42.50 per hour, based on experience.
