RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Gymtegrity Gymnastics & Cheer is seeking an exceptional leader to grow and strengthen our recreational program. Our recreational program is central to the experience we provide families and an important driver of the gym's growth. This position has meaningful responsibility for enrollment, class scheduling and capacity, coach development, program quality, family retention, and the overall recreational experience. Gymnastics experience is preferred. We also welcome applications from excellent leaders with experience in cheer, dance, swimming, martial arts, camps, recreation, other youth sports, or comparable customer-focused programs. The right person will bring strong judgment, a visible work ethic, excellent follow-through, and the ability to develop people. Candidates without extensive gymnastics experience must be humble, eager to learn, and comfortable partnering with experienced technical coaches.

ABOUT GYMTEGRITY

Gymtegrity is an 18,000-square-foot Denver gymnastics and cheer facility dedicated to helping athletes build confidence, teamwork, work ethic, and goal-setting skills. Our programs include recreational gymnastics, preschool and parent-tot classes, Ninja, cheerleading, camps, birthday parties, and competitive DP and Xcel teams.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Lead the recreational program's operations, seasonal planning, curriculum standards, and family experience. Use enrollment, capacity, waitlist, trial, retention, and cancellation information to improve the schedule and support responsible revenue growth. Recruit, onboard, schedule, train, observe, and develop recreational coaches and camp instructors. Establish clear expectations for class quality, positive coaching, safety, and staff accountability. Partner with the front desk on trials, placements, transfers, progress communication, waitlists, and family concerns. Maintain accurate rosters, attendance processes, staffing plans, and program documentation. Plan camps, clinics, showcases, and other experiences that strengthen enrollment, retention, and community. Provide Michelle, the owner, with a concise weekly report covering enrollment, capacity, staffing, program quality, family concerns, and recommended actions. Model Gymtegrity's standards for professionalism, inclusion, teamwork, child safety, and confidence-building coaching.

WHO MAY THRIVE IN THIS ROLE

You may be a strong candidate if you have: Successful leadership experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, swimming, martial arts, camps, recreation, another youth sport, or a comparable customer-facing operation. Experience supervising, scheduling, training, or evaluating coaches, instructors, or service employees. A record of following through on difficult work and holding people accountable constructively. The ability to understand basic operating information and turn it into scheduling, staffing, or enrollment decisions. Clear, calm communication with children, families, employees, and ownership. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and comfort addressing performance problems directly. The humility and learning ability to seek technical expertise rather than pretending to know something you do not. Gymnastics coaching, curriculum, or program-management experience is preferred, but it is not required for an otherwise exceptional candidate. Paid training and a structured gymnastics-specific development plan will be available.

COMPENSATION AND BONUS

The base salary range is $62,000

• 67,000 annually, based on relevant leadership experience, demonstrated scope, and qualifications. The position is also eligible for a written quarterly performance bonus: Target bonus: $1,500 per quarter Maximum bonus: $2,000 per quarter Target annual bonus opportunity: $6,000 Maximum annual bonus opportunity: $8,000 Annualized total cash compensation at target achievement: $68,000
• 73,000 Annualized total cash compensation at maximum achievement: $70,000
• 75,000 The bonus is based primarily on verified net growth in active, paid recreational enrollment and is subject to defined safety, retention, and program-quality requirements.

Eligibility begins with the first full calendar quarter following the start date.

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time leadership position, generally expected to require approximately 40 hours per week and primarily performed on-site. Regular afternoon and evening availability is required because that is when most recreational programming, coaches, athletes, and families are present. Limited, pre-scheduled weekend or event coverage will also be required.
