ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are building one of the most advanced youth soccer development systems in the United States, combining: Elite soccer methodology High-performance sports science NFL-level speed & performance systems Data-driven athlete development This is not a traditional coaching internship. You will work inside a system influenced by: Positional Play Pressing Principles Speed & Power Development Our mission is to create an MLS NEXT-level player development environment for youth athletes in South Florida. This internship is for someone who wants to learn how elite systems are actually built. ⸻

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Sports Science / Strength & Conditioning Intern to assist in: Sports performance training Athlete testing & monitoring Speed, power, and strength sessions Data tracking & reporting Session setup and execution Youth athlete development This role is ideal for: Exercise Science students Kinesiology students Sports Science students Strength & Conditioning interns Aspiring performance coaches Former athletes looking to enter performance ⸻

RESPONSIBILITIES PERFORMANCE TRAINING SUPPORT

Assist coaches with: Speed development sessions Sprint mechanics Plyometric training Warm-up systems Movement prep Strength & conditioning sessions

SPORTS SCIENCE & TESTING

Assist in: CMJ / jump testing Sprint timing (10m, flying 10) RSI testing Movement assessments Athlete readiness monitoring Data collection and organization

SESSION OPERATIONS

Support:

Equipment setup & breakdown Session organization Station management Player flow & coaching support Training environment standards

ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT

Help support: Individual Development Plans (IDPs) Return-to-play monitoring Recovery systems Player tracking dashboards ⸻
