Competitive Olympic Weightlifting Coach Team Omnia - Pembroke Pines, FL Team Omnia is hiring an experienced Olympic Weightlifting Coach to work with competitive athletes preparing for local, state, and national-level competitions. This is not an entry-level coaching position. Applicants must understand advanced Olympic weightlifting technique, competition preparation, meet-day coaching, attempt selection, running athlete cards, and writing structured training programs. Responsibilities Coach competitive athletes in the snatch, clean and jerk, and supporting strength movements Identify technical limitations and provide effective corrections Write and manage individualized and group weightlifting program. Prepare athletes for local, state, and national competitions Coach athletes on competition day, including warm-up timing and attempt selection Accurately run competition cards and coordinate attempts with meet officials Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and the Team Omnia coaching staff Maintain Team Omnia's standards for athlete development, safety, discipline, and sportsmanship Attend competitions and travel with the team when required Required Qualifications Current USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification or higher Previous experience coaching Olympic weightlifting athletes in sanctioned competitions Experience running athlete cards and managing competition-day warm-ups Experience writing Olympic weightlifting programming and competition-preparation cycles Strong technical knowledge of the snatch, clean and jerk, squats, pulls, and accessory movements Ability to coach athletes across different ages, experience levels, and weight classes Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Dependable and available for afternoon, evening, and weekend hours Willingness to follow and contribute to Team Omnia's established coaching system Preferred Qualifications USA Weightlifting Level 2 certification or higher Experience coaching athletes at state, national, or international competitions Proven history of developing athletes from beginner to competitive levels Experience managing multiple athletes during the same competition session Background in strength and conditioning, athlete development, or sports performance Current CPR/AED certification Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced weightlifting coach who can independently manage athletes through both training and competition. You should be confident writing effective programs, making technical corrections, selecting competition attempts, managing warm-ups, and running cards under pressure. We are looking for someone who takes athlete development seriously, communicates well, works collaboratively with other coaches, and wants to contribute to a growing competitive weightlifting team.

10-15 hours per week + Quarterly competition coaching with travel and accomodations covered.
