This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, organizing clinics and events, fostering player development, and providing exceptional member and guest experiences. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, and passionate about growing participation in both pickleball and tennis. The candidate will be mostly focused on Pickleball instruction and organization in the mornings, and tennis in the afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide private, semi-private, and group instruction for players of all ages and skill levels.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct pickleball and tennis clinics, camps, leagues, mixers, and social events.
  • Assist with tournaments, special events, and seasonal programming.
  • Promote player development while maintaining a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
  • Build strong relationships with members and guests through outstanding customer service.
  • Assist with court scheduling and daily operations of the racquet sports facility.
  • Ensure courts, equipment, and teaching areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
  • Encourage participation in racquet sports programs through member engagement and outreach.
  • Support the Head Racquet Sports Professional or Director with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Enforce club policies and safety procedures. Qualifications
  • Prior experience teaching pickleball and/or tennis in a club, resort, or recreational setting.
  • Current pickleball and/or tennis teaching certification required (PPR, RSPA, IPTPA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to teach players of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and instruct for extended periods.
  • Ability to demonstrate strokes, drills, and movement techniques.
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds of equipment.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Seasonal Schedule This is a seasonal position with flexible scheduling based on programming needs. Candidates should be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and special events throughout the season.
Months:
September through April Compensation
  • Competitive $18.00 hourly wage and/or lesson commission based on experience.
