Overview
JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Caddie Master at The Loxahatchee Club must have a strong background in the golf industry. Is responsible for the ongoing cultivation of our Caddy Program and the mentoring of incoming Golf Operations Staff. This individual must possess the leadership and management qualities to direct outside golf operations while acting as an ambassador to our Members and Guests. Essential Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES
Manage daily outside golf operations; maintaining communication with the Caddie Master and Head Pro. Recruit, Train and Supervise Caddies. Provide the Membership and Guests with quality Caddies. Recruit, Train and Supervise Outside Operations Staff. Maintain Golf Operations inventory; i.e. scorecards, pencils, tees, etc. Supervise and facilitates maintenance of the Clubs golf cart fleet. (45) Facilitate the purchase, repairs, and maintenance of Member owned carts. (240) Communicate with Golf Course Superintendent on course conditions. Mark golf course for daily and tournament play. Prepare budget for Outside Operations. Ensure accurate daily cart and guest fee charges. Ensure players tee off on time. Manage pace of play and rangering of golf course. Conduct meetings with Caddies and Outside Staff. Communicate with other department heads on club functions. Other duties as required / directed that may arise in the day-to-day operation.
