We are a locally owned after-school and summer enrichment program dedicated to teaching STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and youth sports to students in grades K-12. We've taught over 1,100 students across Oʻahu and are growing our impact through hands-on, engaging, and creative learning experiences. Summary We're looking for caring and enthusiastic part-time teachers to lead elementary enrichment sport classes (K-6) at public and private schools across the island and primarily around Honolulu. This is a great role for anyone who loves working with young children and wants to make a positive impact through sport and movement education. Each class is 1-2 hours and range from 11:30AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday You will be matched with at least 1 classes based on availability and scheduling needs Course examples: Flag Football League; K-Pop Dance Class;
Improv Studio Compensation:
$20 to $25 per hour Semester long-commitment (June to August) Duties Lead fun and enriching sport and movement classes (curriculum provided) Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging class environment Manage class behavior with warmth and consistency Set up and pack up materials for each class session Communicate with school staff and Keiki Athletes team Supervise student safety during class times Qualifications At least two years of college coursework (48 semester units), an associate's degree or higher, or proof of certification through a local assessment that meets the requirements of the " Every Student Succeeds Act" . Experience working with young children (K-6) in any setting: teaching, tutoring, camps, etc. Passion for education, movement, and inspiring kids Strong classroom management and communication skills Reliable transportation to get to assigned school sites Availability between 11:30PM - 3:30PM, Monday through Friday Ability to lift and carry 20-40 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations. Valid driver's license or State ID. Must pass background check (DOE or private school requirements)Job Types:
