Overview Assistant Golf Professional Ridge Country Club Chicago, Illinois Position Summary The Pro Shop Staff plays a key role in the daily execution of golf operations and member services at Ridge Country Club. This position supports all aspects of the golf program including tournaments, merchandising, simulator operations, and outside services while helping deliver a welcoming, professional, and organized experience for members and guests. This is a hands-on role designed for a motivated professional who wants real responsibility, growth, and leadership opportunities within a progressive, member-focused private club. Primary Responsibilities Daily Operations Assistwith opening and closing procedures of the golf shop and practice facilities Always provide exceptionalmemberand guest service Manage tee sheet flow, check in, and point of sale transactions Support outside service staff and ensure smooth daily play Tournaments & Events Assistwith planning, execution, and scoring of all club events and leagues Help coordinate weekly leagues, member tournaments, andspecial events Prepare carts, scoreboards, rules sheets, and event materials Communicate event details clearly with participants Simulator & Off-Season Programming Manage simulator bookings and evening programs Assistwith leagues, events, and winter training packages Help grow off season revenue through creative programming Administrative Support tournament software and tee sheet management Assistwith email communications and member correspondence Help with billing, special orders, and reporting as needed
