Job Description
The Office of Student Outreach and Support is seeking a dedicated, highly organized, collaborative, and student-focused
- _Case Manager, Scholar-Athlete Specialist_
- who brings expertise in collegiate athletics and student support.
- Primary Care, On Campus Living, the greater Division of Student Affairs, University Administration, and Academic Advising and faculty in the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering. While strong, supportive relationships may develop with students, the case manager does not provide any clinical support services to students.
- Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- + Meet 1:1 with students experiencing challenges to understand their unique circumstances, identify appropriate next steps, connect to relevant resources, and track their progress towards identified goals.
- Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- + Team-player who can work with others across disciplines, roles, and functions as well as perform work independently.
- Minimum Qualifications
- + Bachelor's Degree. + Three years related experience. + Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Master's degree in education, counseling, social work, public health, or related field.
