Job Description
Central Michigan University, an FBS Member of the Mid-American Conference, is accepting applications for a Student-Athlete Leadership and Development Graduate Assistant for the 2027-2028 school year. Starting in the Spring 2027 Semester. Candidates must be accepted into the Graduate School at Central Michigan University. This is a non-benefit position with a full tuition waiver (excluding fees) and a $11,100 stipend. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Aid and oversight into the operations, planning, and execution of comprehensive student-athlete development programs for Central Michigan student-athletes
- Support departmental Inclusive Excellence initiatives to foster a welcoming and inclusive culture for student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
- Manage and track community outreach initiatives to enhance the presence of student-athletes within the Mt. Pleasant community
- Assist in administering and collecting evaluations and surveys distributed to all student-athletes
- Coordinate and/or assist in maintaining and updating the social media accounts
- Assist with other projects and duties as assigned by members of the CMU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Qualifications for
