Job Description

The Tiger Center Assistant oversees the daily operations of the Tiger Center Study Hall, ensuring a structured, quiet, and productive academic environment for student-athletes. This part-time role serves as the primary front-facing representative for the department, assisting with student-athlete attendance tracking, front-desk reception, appointment scheduling for academic support staff, and facility oversight. Specific duties and responsibilities associated with this position shall include, but are not limited to: Actively supervise student-athletes during study hall hours, enforcing departmental policies, conduct standards, and noise guidelines. Track, compile, and report weekly study hall attendance data to academic advisors and coaching staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully operational study environment throughout the day and evening. Serve as the main point of contact for the Athletic Academic Department, greeting all student-athletes, recruits, campus partners, and visitors. Manage advisor and tutor calendars, assisting student-athletes and guests with scheduling individual academic meetings. Systematically check student-athletes in and out of the facility using the department's tracking software. Oversee daily facility opening and closing procedures. Assist academic advisors with administrative tasks, data entry, special events, and student progress reporting. Maintain strict confidentiality of student educational records in full compliance with FERPA regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree is required. Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, higher education, or athletic program administration.
