Experience Required 1-2 years minimum working at a high end public or semi private facility. Essential Responsibilities Under the direction of the Head Golf Professional, the Assistant Golf Professional position will assist with the management of daily golf operations including managing and tracking play, supervising golf staff, assisting with all merchandising functions, managing tournaments, teaching lessons, and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience. Supervise and manage the total golf operations in a professional and efficient manner in the absence of the Head Golf Professional. Provide excellent customer services, professional advice and assistance to all patrons. Control and manage play; ensure guest check-in and fee collection in coordination with the starter. Manage the total operation of the practice facility. Provide golf instruction and clinics that is consistent with instructional methods, policies and procedures. Supervise and train outside staff personnel as directed by the Head Professional. Assist in the purchasing, receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion and sales of merchandise.
