• Teach private and/or group lessons for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Follow the curriculum as determined by the Director of Tennis.
• Supervise leagues, teams and other tennis programs as assigned by the Head Professional.
• Maintain accurate class attendance records.
• Monitor and relate student's progress to student on a regular basis.
• Promote club programs and encourage registration/participation.
• Attend all departmental staff meetings.
• Attend quarterly all-staff meetings.
• Motivate students through use of new teaching techniques in private or group lessons.
• Report for lessons on time and in professional attire.
• Abide by all club company rules and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual.
• Accept and complete all assignments deemed appropriate by the Director of Tennis or General Manager.

Job Qualifications:

Upon hire, the teaching professional must:

• Have a USPTA or USPTR certification.
• Have minimum of two (2) years teaching experience.
• Demonstrate a moderate to high level of playing proficiency.
• Demonstrate on court teaching techniques.
• Have CPR certification.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain positive attitude.
