Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Golf Professional to join our team at Meadow Links & Golf Academy. As an Assistant Golf Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests, assisting with golf operations, and supporting the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of the golf program. You will also have the opportunity to teach golf lessons and clinics to players of all skill levels. Your goal will be to ensure that our members and guests have an enjoyable and memorable golf experience at our course.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with daily golf operations, including managing tee sheets, starting and finishing golfers, and maintaining the practice facility. Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, including answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. Assist with golf instruction, including teaching lessons and clinics to players of all skill levels. Maintain a clean and organized golf shop, including managing inventory and assisting with merchandising. Support the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of the golf program, including tournament operations and player development.
QUALIFICATIONS
An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is: High School Diploma or GED required, at least 18 years old, and demonstrable interest in golf.
PGA/LPGA
Apprentice or Member in good standing. Strong customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
State Motor Vehicle Operator's License that meets GPHC current carrier guidelines.
