Job Description

Position Overview Wyoming Golf Club is seeking at least two (2) Golf Operations Staff members to join our team. We are especially interested in candidates who are available to this late Summer/Fall season for part time work. This position provides complete services for members and their guests relating to bag handling, golf cart operations, and driving range management. Candidates must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional late afternoons/evenings as needed. Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist with all aspects of Golf Department operations. Prepare all golf carts for daily play; ensure carts are clean and stocked with pencils, scorecards, towels, and sand. Clean carts upon completion of play and place on charge if not being reused. Maintain cart storage building and surrounding areas in a neat and organized manner. Monitor operational areas throughout the day to ensure cleanliness and order. Keep the area in front of the Golf Department clear and free of congestion. Wash clubs after play and return bags to proper storage or member vehicles. Ensure that members and guests are assisted with their bags at all times. Open the driving range to ensure readiness at posted opening time. Maintain driving range, short game areas, beverage stations, and podiums throughout the day. Pick up, wash, and restock range balls. Walk the range and short game areas to collect trash and maintain cleanliness. Empty trash daily. Close the driving range and short game areas and prepare for next-day operations. Assist with tournaments and special events. Support enforcement of club policies and procedures. Communicate with members, guests, coworkers, and management in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain a professional demeanor that reflects positively on Wyoming Golf Club. Adhere to all club regulations, policies, and procedures. Qualifications Previous country club or golf club experience preferred. Knowledge of the game of golf preferred. Ability to lift and carry golf bags weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods. Strong communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment. Professional attitude and ability to maintain effective working relationships. Benefits Unlimited complimentary golf , subject to tournament schedule and overall course traffic. One complimentary meal per shift , provided the kitchen is open for service during scheduled working hours. Opportunity to earn gratuities. While tipping is never required from the membership, many members choose to tip staff for excellent service, particularly during closing shifts and busy days.
