Job Description

D-BAT Columbus | Indoor Baseball & Softball Training Facility Do you love coaching kids and care about doing it the right way ? D-BAT Columbus is looking for reliable, high-energy baseball instructors who enjoy working with young athletes and helping them build confidence, skills, and a love for the game. This is a hands-on coaching role focused on fundamentals, fun, and positive development — not just rolling out balls and watching kids swing. What You'll Do Coach baseball lessons and classes for players ages 7-11 Teach fundamentals (hitting, throwing, fielding) in an age-appropriate, engaging way Create a positive, energetic environment that keeps kids moving and learning Communicate clearly with parents about player progress Follow D-BAT lesson plans while bringing your own coaching personality Use professional training equipment and technology Who This Is a Great Fit For Former baseball players (high school, college, or beyond) Coaches with youth or team experience College students studying education, sports management, kinesiology, or related fields Teachers, PE instructors, or rec league coaches Anyone who enjoys structure, energy, and working with kids What We're Looking For Experience working with kids ages 7-11 (coaching or teaching) Strong communication skills with kids and parents Reliable, punctual, and professional Able to take instruction and coach within a structured program Comfortable being active and on your feet This role is not a "stand around" job — instructors are expected to stay engaged, coach actively, and lead with energy.
