Gymnastics Team & Program Director:
Experience coaching competitive gymnastics and teaching recreational gymnastics programs Experience leading staff, volunteers, or program operations Knowledge of gymnastics safety standards and athlete development Ability to plan and coordinate multiple programs, events, and schedules simultaneously Current gymnastics, CPR, First Aid, or other required certifications, or the ability to obtain them The responsibilities we will trust you with as our
Gymnastics Team & Program Director:
Coach and develop YMCA gymnastics team athletes through quality instruction and competitive preparation Lead and grow instructional gymnastics programs for participants of all ages and skill levels Oversee gymnastics birthday parties, camps, clinics, and special events Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and support gymnastics instructors, coaches, volunteers, and party staff Coordinate class schedules, team practices, facility usage, and special events Develop new programs and initiatives that increase participation, retention, and program quality Monitor participant progress and maintain positive communication with families Ensure gymnastics spaces, equipment, and programs meet YMCA safety and quality standards Support participant enrollment, retention, and community engagement efforts Partner with Marketing to promote gymnastics programs, camps, events, and team activities Maintain program records, schedules, attendance, and required documentation Collaborate with YMCA leadership to evaluate program performance and identify opportunities for growth What you can expect: Support from an experienced program leadership team Opportunities to expand and shape a growing gymnastics program The ability to coach athletes while developing future instructors and leaders Meaningful work helping children build confidence, strength, and lifelong skills YMCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
