JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title:

Golf Outside Operations Team Member Reports to: Leader of the

Outside Operations & Assistant Golf Professionals Position Summary:

Provide bag, golf cart and range services to members and guests.

Classification:

This is non-exempt, hourly position.

Essential Job Functions:

This position is responsible for, but is not limited to, the following:

• Brings golf carts from cart storage to cart staging area outside Golf Pro Shop. Ensures golf carts are clean and properly stocked with tees, scorecard, pencil, sand bottles, & daily pinsheet.
• Loads bags from bag storage room onto golf carts.
• Transports range balls to each end of range and fills appropriate containers.
• Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range.
• Operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls.
• Washes all range balls daily.
• Removes bags from golf carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room.
• Returns golf carts to cart shelter; removes towels, pencils, score carts, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf carts and saves reusable items; checks carts for damage; washes golf cart with pressure cleaner; parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable.
• Advises Pro Shop of clubs found on the course and destined for the lost and found.
• Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club's rental equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness of and order in Bag Storage Room.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Leader of the Outside Operations & Assistant Golf Professional.

Education and/or

Experience:

• Knowledge of the game of golf preferred.

Physical Demands:

This position involves (on a regular basis) sitting, standing, walking, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, reaching, and lifting at least forty (40) pounds.
