Job Description
Overview The Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. They work closely with other staff members to create a professional, engaging experience for Emerald Bay Members and their Guests. Experience Required PGA Associate or Member in good standing (preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with Golf Genius and golf shop operations preferred Passion for teaching and growing the game Professional appearance and demeanor Essential Responsibilities Assist in all daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, point-of-sale systems, and Golf Genius tournament software Provide private and group instruction, including clinics and player development programs Execute tournaments and member events, including Monday outings Maintain golf shop standards, merchandising, and inventory control Deliver exceptional member service and uphold club standards Assist with maintenance of the golf car fleet and operation of the driving range Provide club repair to members and guests Benefits Playing privelages One meal per shift provided PGA Dues paid PGA Education reimbursed after succesful completion 401K with up to 3% company match (after 90 day indtroductory period) Discount on Golf Merchandise Discount on Food and Beverage Dental and Vision Insurange available at cost to employee (after 90 day introductory period) Holiday Pay (begins accruing after 90 day introductory period) PTO (begins accruing after 90 day introductory period) Paid Vacation after 1 year of employment
