Job Description
Job Description This full-time internship experience is designed to provide an individual the opportunity to grow and develop the necessary skills needed to advance their career into the field of student-athlete academic support. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Learning Assistance Program (LAP), the Assistant Learning Specialist will work with the LAP team to provide one-on-one support to student-athletes who have education-impacting disabilities or who are academically at-risk. This position will require the ability to work a flexible schedule, to include nights and weekends Required Qualifications
- Completion of a related master's degree, active progress towards completing a master's degree, or an active plan to obtain a master's degree or possess an equivalent level of training and or experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to develop written reports.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with various stakeholders in a time sensitive environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of NCAA eligibility bylaws.
- Experience in student-athlete academic support services.
