Schedule:
Part-Time | Mornings, Evenings & Weekends Kitsap Tennis & Athletic Center (KTAC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time Tennis Professional to join our tennis team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with players of all ages and skill levels and is passionate about creating a positive, welcoming tennis experience. Responsibilities Teach group tennis classes, clinics, and programs for youth and adults. Provide private and semi-private tennis lessons as scheduled. Work with beginner through advanced players to improve technique, strategy, and overall game development. Assist with tennis socials, special events, camps, and other tennis programming. Create a positive, encouraging, and professional environment for members and guests. Promote participation in KTAC tennis programs and help build strong relationships with players. Follow KTAC policies, procedures, and safety standards. Work collaboratively with KTAC's tennis staff and management. Qualifications Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, techniques, scoring, rules, and match play. Previous tennis teaching, coaching, or playing experience preferred. Ability to effectively teach players of different ages and skill levels. Friendly, professional, dependable, and customer-service focused. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have a RSPA or PTR certification. American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric Frist Aid/CPR/AED certification or willing to achieve in first 90 days. Must be willing to complete a background check. Availability Candidates should have flexibility to work a combination of: Mornings Evenings Weekends Hours may vary based on lessons, clinics, programs, and member demand. Compensation $24
  • 30 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, plus the possibility of commission based on eligible lessons, programs, or other approved tennis activities.
