Schedule:
1:00 AM or 2:00 AM start, 8-hour shifts
Pay Rate:
$25.00-$26.00/hour

From our production kitchens to our retail counters, our team is the heart of every cake, cookie, and moment we create for our guests. Job Overview We're looking for a Lead Production Baker to guide day-to-day baking operations supporting our Gilbert, AZ retail location. This role owns the production schedule and quality on the floor, directing the work of production/bakery staff to keep cases consistently stocked with fresh, high-quality product. The Lead Production Baker reports to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities Lead daily production baking operations supporting the Gilbert retail location, ensuring recipes, quality, and food safety standards are followed Direct the daily workflow of production/bakery staff, assigning tasks and prioritizing based on case needs and order volume Monitor ingredient and packaging inventory, flagging shortages to the Operations Manager Maintain consistent product quality, appearance, and freshness across all baked goods Train and support production staff on recipes, techniques, and TSC standards Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in the production area Communicate production needs and issues to the Operations Manager and retail leadership Work the production line as needed to meet daily output goals Requirements Prior experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food production environment; lead or shift-lead experience preferred Strong baking fundamentals and attention to quality and consistency Ability to direct the work of others in a fast-paced environment Reliable early-morning availability Valid food handler card obtained within 30 days of hire (valid 3 years) Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30-50 lbs Benefits A dynamic production team environment where quality and craftsmanship are valued Opportunity to lead and grow with a growing company Employee product discounts Eligible for health, dental, and vision benefits the 1st of the month following 60 days of full-time employment How to Apply Ready to join the Too Sweet Cakes team?
