Pastry Cook, Restaurants- Scratch Bakery Program Phoenix/Scottsdale Area | Full-Time | Hourly About Us We're a well-known legacy restaurant group with multiple concepts across the Valley. We're looking for a pastry cook to help run a scratch bakery program at our concepts. What You'll Do Prepare a daily lineup of desserts, cookies, cakes, pastries, and bakery-case items from scratch Work with enriched and laminated doughs, batters, fillings, and glazes Follow recipes and portion specs so every batch is consistent Plan daily prep around par levels, bake times, and case presentation Keep the pastry station stocked, labeled, rotated, and food-safe Track usage of butter, sugar, chocolate, and specialty ingredients, and flag reorders early Contribute and experiment with ideas for seasonal and holiday items What You Bring 2+ years of pastry or bakery experience in a restaurant, bakery, or hotel setting Solid fundamentals: scaling, mixing methods, and working with doughs and batters A good eye for finishing and presentation The ability to work efficiently and stay organized during high-volume production Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for a full shift Culinary or baking-and-pastry training is a plus, but not required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and sick time Shift meals and dining discounts across our restaurants Room to grow within an established, multi-concept hospitality group
