Full Job Description Overview:
$17.25 / hour As a Baker Assistant, you will assist the Baker's in baking, plating, and measuring different items throughout the bakery. Ideal experience is at least 1 year working in a bakery setting.
Responsibilities:
Performs various operations, including rolling, cutting, baking, scaling, weighing, mixing, measuring, and ingredient preparation. Stocks and maintains walk‑in and reach‑in refrigerators, as well as dry storage areas. Monitor sanitation, spoilage, and supply waste.
Qualifications:
Ability to identify various forms of dough and bakery ingredients. Ability to adhere to recipes, food preparation instructions, and production guidelines. Knowledge of basic bakery and pastry production techniques. Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
