Job Description

Overview $22.68 / hour Team Leaders are responsible for overseeing the operation which includes training, directing, motivating, evaluating and disciplining team members. Have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Food and Beverage bakery. Prepare bread, cakes and pastries and other items as needed for all occasions, including preparing dough and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate. Review production and requisition sheets to understand variety of baked goods to be produced daily. The baker must be able to use time management skills to produce all required baked goods in an efficient and consistent manner. Responsibilities Prepare bakery items in an efficient manner Adheres to recipes and production guidelines. Ability to operate all equipment in the bakery. Ability to work in a large production kitchen production a large production of items Maintain cleanliness Monitor inventory levels, manage ordering, and control waste to meet food cost goals Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including internal audits and health department standards Provide hands-on support during peak service times, ensuring smooth operations and timely service Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections to uphold cleanliness, safety, and guest-ready standards always Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring positive experiences and resolution of issues Work closely with other departments (e.g., culinary, events, facilities, HR) to coordinate logistics and support overall business success Champion company culture, values, and service standards throughout all catering operation Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Mandatory completion of Basic Food Safety & Sanitation Training, ServSafe Training and ServSafe Alcohol as provided to obtain certification(s). This may involve verbal, written and/or practical tests. Ability to comply with all company, divisional and state laws in regard to minor labor laws. Ability to demonstrate park knowledge and its procedures, specifically the Food & Beverage Division. Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred. Demonstrate the ability to work with team members, guests and supervision in a positive, productive and professional manner. Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills. Utilize problem solving skills including having the ability to remain patient, poised and alert to cope with challenging/unique situations. Work collaboratively in a team setting and independently. Ability to complete daily tasks without constant supervision. Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
