Job Description
Sunmerry started in Japan and was brought to Taiwan in 1986. With the Japanese baking techniques and local Taiwan flavors, Sunmerry Bakery has become a household name in Taipei. We take pride in our baking expertise and our ability to come up with new products that match the local flavors, and these are what we hope to bring to the US market. We at Sunmerry hope you can come be a part of our team! Responsibilities and Duties Assembling and decorating all cakes/products Bake daily production of cakes, cookies, cupcake, and etc Perform daily operations, including but not limited to: separating, filling and baking. Follow precise recipes and maintain consistent quality and texture Prepare batter and mise en place the day prior when needed Assist with inventory and ingredient prep as needed Provide sufficient products and maintaining quality to meet Sunmerry standards and completing designated tasks on time. Able to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively as a collaborative team player Cleaning up of workstation at end of shift including washing all equipment, cleaning cake production area and stock area clean and organized Follow directions and work together with the management team to deliver outstanding service. Qualifications and Skills High School diploma or higher; Food/Bakery experience preferred, but not required Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask; Acceptable verbal English communication skill; Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts; ServSafe certified; Weekend and holiday availability
