Job Summary We are seeking a Baker for a direct hire opportunity in Irvine, CA within the food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on baking professional with experience working with dough, fillings, proofing, baking, and finishing in a production or product development environment. The Baker will support research and development activities, prepare product samples, assist with testing ingredients and formulations, and help bring bakery products from concept to production. • Support product development by assisting with formulations, ingredient testing, and production line trials.
• Prepare, bake, and finish product samples for customer reviews, internal testing, and trade shows.
• Handle doughs, fillings, proofing, baking, and finishing processes according to established procedures.
• Serve as a liaison with customers, brokers, sales teams, and suppliers as needed.
• Assist with trade show preparation, including sample baking and related product presentation tasks.
• Complete miscellaneous R D and bakery production support tasks while maintaining food safety and quality standards. Compensation and Benefits
• Salary range: $47,000 to $51,000 per year.

• Support bakery product development, sample preparation, and ingredient testing.
• Assist with production line testing and R D bakery projects.
• Prepare baked samples for customer meetings, shows, and internal evaluations.
• Follow bakery production procedures, food safety standards, and quality expectations.
• 1 to 2 years of baking, bakery production, food production, or related food and beverage experience.
• Knowledge of dough handling, filling handling, proofing, baking, and finishing.
• Understanding of food safety standards and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to follow instructions, recipes, procedures, and production requirements carefully.
• Strong communication skills for working with internal teams, customers, brokers, and suppliers.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to support multiple R D and production-related tasks. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting bakery R D, product development, or production line trials.
• Experience preparing samples for customer presentations, sales meetings, or trade shows.
• Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment and large-scale food production environments.
