Temporary Part-Time Baker's Assistant (Through Early January 2026) 29 Hours Per Week / $17.50 per hour (The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.)
Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Worksite Supervisor, will work on a part-time basis from 8am - 2pm Monday through Friday, and provide high-quality food service, specifically focusing on the preparation and baking of MHALA's locally famous cookies. This position is temporary with an estimated duration of 3 months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This is not an exhaustive task list, and other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate or necessary by the supervisor or program director. Will help scoop, weigh, assemble, arrange, and bake approximately 170 dozen cookies in a bakeshop setting on a daily basis. Will clean up after baking Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
High School diploma preferred Baking experience preferred Must display a high degree of reliability and accountability Weekly Monday through Friday work schedule of 8am - 2pm TB clearance and yearly re-test are conditions of employment
COVID-19
