PASTRY BAKER-Cold case Bread & Cie Wholesale is seeking a motivated Pastry Chef Assistant to support our Pastry Chef in the preparation of cakes, pies, mousses, gelatins, pastry creams, macarons, and other pastries made from scratch. This position is ideal for someone with basic pastry knowledge who is passionate about learning, willing to follow recipes and instructions, and excited to grow within our bakery team.
PAY:
$19.00-$20.00/hr
DOE POSITION
Full Time SHIFT:
Start time between 3:00 AM-4:00 AM
LOCATION
Near Tecolote and Old Town Trolley stops; easy access to public transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Pastry Chef with the preparation of cakes, pies, mousses, gelatins, pastry creams, macarons, and other pastries Follow recipes, instructions, and production guidelines Help with scaling, mixing, baking, filling, decorating, and finishing pastry items Maintain a clean and organized workspace Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines Work efficiently and as part of a team
REQUIREMENTS
Basic pastry or bakery experience preferred Production bakery experience is a plus Passionate about learning and growing in pastry Willing to learn and follow instructions Strong attention to quality and detail Reliable and flexible schedule Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for the entire shift Team player with good communication skills Bilingual is a plus Overtime available
