Key Responsibilities:

Assist with back-of-house preparation tasks, including portioning, packaging, assembling products, and replenishing stock to support smooth daily operations. Greet walk-in and phone-in guests promptly and genuinely with warmth and enthusiasm to determine their interests and needs. Demonstrate deep product knowledge to guide guests in selecting cakes and pastries by explaining flavor profiles, sizes, pricing, and seasonal or limited-time offerings. Promote and upsell complementary products and retail merchandise to enhance each purchase and increase average transaction value. Share current promotions and encourage guests to follow us on social media and sign up for our email list to stay updated and connected. Efficiently and accurately process orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Restock and maintain an appealing and organized space throughout the day. Ensure the store is clean at all times by routinely sweeping, mopping. Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols, including dress code and personal hygiene standards. Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. Assist supervisors and team members with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:

While no formal education or work experience is required, previous guest service experience at a bakery, restaurant or retail store is a plus.
