We're seeking an experienced baker and prep cook to complement the growing kitchen operation in our cafe & roastery. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including measuring ingredients, mixing, packaging assembling food items Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold food safety standards and ensure efficient production flow Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor, appearance, and quality of all baked goods Support high-volume production needs by preparing ingredients and assisting with packaging for retail Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, baking, or pastry arts Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and food safety management practices Skilled in food handling techniques Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production environments while maintaining quality standards Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service Prior catering or restaurant experience is required
