Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and cold cuts with precision and care Bake, decorate, and package baked goods such as pastries, bread, cakes, and cookies, utilizing cake decorating skills when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and deli areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist customers by providing friendly service, answering questions about products, and offering recommendations Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene standards and food safety regulations Restock shelves, display cases, and packaging supplies to keep the area attractive and fully stocked Support catering orders and special events by preparing large quantities of baked goods or deli items as required Qualifications Previous experience in food production, baking, or a related culinary field is highly preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques Knowledge of cake decorating, pastry making, and food presentation is a plus Familiarity with food safety practices and proper handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Join us to bring your passion for culinary arts to life!
