Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Full Time experienced Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and creating delicious treats.Schedule:
Saturday- Tuesday, 4:30am
- 2:30pm, approximately 36-40 hours per week
Skills:
- Professional baking experience required
- Experience in Restaurant or Casual Dining Kitchens
- Ability to use knives and kitchen tools effectively
- Open to providing and receiving feedback for continues growth and consistent products
- Attention to detail in packaging and presenting baked goods
Duties:
- Prepare a variety breads (sourdough, rye, focaccia, and baguettes), cookies, scones, and more. This is not a pastry kitchen position.
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, and other tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Physical Demands:
Required to stand and walk continuously for 8-10 hours Frequent exposure to sharp objects and hot surfaces Continuously performing hand and wrist work, including grasping Frequently bending and twisting, with occasional pushing and pulling, fine hand manipulation, reaching above the shoulder, and kneeling or squatting May require the climbing of stairs depending on location. Continuously lifting or carrying 0-15 pounds, frequently lifting or carrying 20-50 pounds, and rarely lifting over 50 pounds Occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Pay:
