Duties:

• Make and bake bread to follow recipes and fill customer orders
• Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items such as bread, buns, quiche, cookies, pastries, croissants, pastry fillings and various desserts on a highly skilled team
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately using basic math skills
• Roll buns and other bread projects, keep inventory rotated
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and work area
• Label bakery products for display or sale
• Rotate around the bakery with a variety of projects as needed on both the bread and pastry teams.

Never the same thing over and over and is ideal for the person who wants to do a some of everything

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a bakery or food service environment is required
• Basic math skills, including the ability to perform baking math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
